INTRODUCING A LOW PRICED HPLC SOFTWARE PACKAGE STAR-CHROM LITE™

Manassas, VA: D-Star Instruments a manufacturer of high quality, low priced instruments for the analytical instruments market has introduced a new low cost 32 bit HPLC software package operating in Windows 95, 98, ME, and NT systems. The software can be used with any HPLC system or HPLC detector that has an analog output available for contact closures.

Comparing the features of Star-Chrom Lite™ to other low priced software packages, it is said that it is the lowest priced chromatography data acquisition-data processing software in the market. If used with D-star detectors and HPLC systems, the software will autozero the detector, and monitor system pressure with High-Low alarms.

The software is based on the D-Star Star-Chrom ™ HPLC Management Software, which incorporates full instrument control. Since the file system in both software packages is the same, all data acquired and processed with the low cost data systems is compatible with Star-Chrom.
